Jieun Kiaer is the Young Bin Min-KF Professor of Korean Linguistics at the University of Oxford, whose research explores Hallyu, multilingualism, translanguaging, and AI in language.

She also provides expert consulting on Korean–English legal and corporate linguistic matters and leads cultural strategy projects informed by technology-driven insights into the Korean Wave. In addition to her academic work, she is also a poet and novelist.
